Monica Benton
I believe healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and supported in making meaningful changes. This space is where I share quiet reflections on being human—moments of stillness, growth, questioning, and becoming.
My life has been a tapestry of different chapters: accountant, mother of five, volunteer, student returning to the classroom, and now therapist (LCPC). Each role has softened me, strengthened me, and taught me something about presence and compassion.
I’m committed to lifelong learning—not just in my profession, but in the way I move through the world. Writing here is part of that journey, a way to make sense of what it means to grow at every age and stage.
Welcome — I’m Monica. This is a space for reflection, for noticing the small moments that shape who we are and who we are becoming. Here, I share personal stories, gentle observations, and thoughts on growth, change, and the quiet transformations of life.
May something here meet you where you are, offering pause, perspective, and connection.

Presence

Becoming

Humanity
